Easy Ham & Swiss Quiche

This is great for a brunch - serve with fresh fruit and mini muffins.
Also good for dinner - I ususally serve w/ a salad and french bread.

1 1/2 cups cubed, cooked ham (I buy the already cubed/diced ham at the store)
1 cup shredded swiss cheese
1/4 cup chopped onion (less if you like less onion)
1/2 cup Bisquick
1 cup milk (use whole or 2%, not skim)
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 eggs

Heat oven to 400. Grease 9 inch pie plate.

Sprinkle ham, cheese and onion in bottom of pie plate.
Mix Bisquick, milk, salt, pepper and eggs until blended. Pour over ham and cheese in pie plate.

Bake 35 - 40 minutes or until knife insterted in middle comes out clean.

Cool 5 minutes before cutting. Serves 6-8, depending on size of slice.

Silly question: there's no reason I couldn't substitute the swiss with cheddar is there?

Again, this sounds delicious! TLC, I like all of your recipes and I'm glad you joined this blog.

This could be a great dish for when the in-laws come to visit.
