Cheap, Quick Stroganoff

  • 2-ish pounds of hamburger
  • 16 oz. bag of noodles (I like medium egg noodles.)
  • 3 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 cans cream of celery soup
Brown hamburger, drain. Cook noodles. Open soup. Mix everything together. Season with salt and pepper.

I like to eat this over mashed potatoes with bread and butter. (And then call it carbs over carbs, served with carbs.)

This sounds yummy. But let's say I don't like mushrooms or celery, what soups or ingredients can I substitute?

Thank you.

I don't like celery but I can't tell that that is what kind of soup is in the dish. I'm not sure what you could substitute for the cream of mushroom. Hmmm.

Ok, I made this last night. It's so good! It was the perfect meal for the weather.

I used cream of potato, I just couldn't do the other soups. And a small container of sour cream.

I also added beef consumme to the beef after it was browned for extra beefy flavor.

De-lish!
